They need a better statistics engine. However, I only became a paid up member on the 14th of August 2005. From then till the end of the year, thats a 139 days, or four months and seventeen days of being an active Flickr’er (thank you timeanddate.com’s duration calculator).
Since then, I had about 24100 stream views, with 2386 photos uploaded (with a fraction of that being marked private). Thats an average of 173 views of my gallery per day. Rock on!
My most popular shot (3649 views):

My most favorited shot (5 people):

And of course, go after interestingness.
I do wish that we had a way of finding shots that had zero views by others. This way I know what I can pimp more, or see why it didn’t do well. It does seem that based on the tag, you can get a lot more page views (as they show up in interesting searches). However, if there’s a lack in content, it’ll show that no one clicks on it either!
Here’s to more Flickr’ing in 2006, posting to more groups, getting more comments, giving more constructive comments, and of course finding higher quality images that make folk want to favorite it like crazy.

You do have a point, s2art. Titty shots seem to get the attention. I even managed to get the tags added by someone. Heh.
Oh well, its understood as human behaviour as well, I guess.
