Look at the loaded JavaScript demo, titled Retouch, if you’ve ever wondered how to make your portraits look a lot more like what you see in the magazines.

We’re human. We’re fixated on appearances. We’re never satisfied. And the media industry help push this. They tell girls daily that they need to be thinner, have larger breasts, fuller lips, and fair skin. And they fall for it!

But wait, there’s a demo that shows how all this retouching is performed. See how the eyes are made to look less saggy, the teeth are filled, the lips are glossed to look fuller, the pores and small imperfections from the nose and face are removed. Did you know that a dark shadow alongside a cheek makes the face thinner? Shadows and light patches help make larger breasts; having a dark shadow followed by a light section on the upper side makes it fuller! Knowing waists are straight, they’re curved. Even smoothening creases on the clothing help!
